So, let's say you're just walking around and then your smartwatch vibrates. 'Time to wash,' it says. But why? Well, it's probably because the newest feature is a wash timer. The goal is most likely to decrease the rate of infections in the Corona Virus Pandemic. Google, who has designed a lot of the Android watches, has put a 40-second timer to make sure that your hands are as clean as possible. Everybody knows that the recommended time that you wash your hands is 20 seconds, but Google seems to be erring the side of caution, which seems better to me, right?
After your scrubbing and washing are complete, you will get notified that you will be reminded to wash again in 3 hours.
Thank you, Google for all the help to fight off COVID-19!
